TRON Grand Hackathon 2022 Season 3 was launched by BitTorrent Chain (BTTC) and the TRON DAO. Applications will soon be accepted. The Hackathon has a $1.2 Million prize pool for the winners of six tracks:
- DeFi – DeFi is a key movement in the crypto space. It allows financial services to operate more openly, transparently, and accessible digitally. The DeFi track is focused on finding innovative DeFi solutions that provide financial services to billions.
- GameFi span style="font weight: 400 ;">- Gaming is changing to the blockchain. Entertainment meets web 3.0. This track is focused on developing and launching the next great game idea.

NFT – The NFT track embraces creator economies, giving NFT creators both technical and financial support to ensure their work is at its best. It also empowers developers who develop innovative NFT applications.
- Web3 – This track is focused on finding projects that are helping to bring the Web's future to billions of people.
- Ecosystem The first iteration will be primarily focused on Ethereum-based Projects (both PoW, and PoS). This track will encourage developers and other bridging solutions to cross-chain functionality.
- Academy The TRON Academy track focuses on a real-life event that allows enrolled university students to experience TRON culture in a Hacker House fashion.
Why you should join the TRON Grand Hackathon
The TRON Grand Hackathon 2022 Season 2 was launched a few months back. It was a huge success. There were over 1800 participants. The $1 million aggregate bounty was split between four tracks: Web3, GameFi, NFT, and DeFi. Many talented developers have contributed new projects to enrich the TRON ecosystem for millions.
Like season 2, there will also be community-voted winners as well as winners voted by judges. The judges include prominent industry professionals, key opinion leaders, and institutional professionals. They bring multi-perspective thought leadership to the evaluation of the many Hackathon projects. The Hackathon provided support for winners with many resources, including funding opportunities, liquidity and integration with partner exchanges.
