Cardano was one Saturday's notable gainers. The token soared to a three week high. As the sentiment in the cryptocurrency market is largely bullish, the sandbox also was in the green. It rose to a multiweek high. As of writing, the global crypto market capital has risen by almost 2%.
Cardano (ADA), climbed to a 3-week high on Saturday as the token rose for a forth consecutive session.
After a Friday low of $0.4894, the ADA/USD was able reach a high of $0.5235 on Saturday.
Saturday's top marks the highest price the token traded at since August 18th. It comes just as prices have climbed past a major resistance level.
The ceiling at $0.5115 was broken earlier today, as the 10-day (red-colored) moving average crosses its 25-day counterpart (blue).
Another notable occurrence in the chart is the relative strength index (RSI), 14-days, which also moved above a ceiling at 56.00
Now at 58.00, ADA could regain the $0.5440 mark if it reaches its higher resistance level of 60.40.
The Sandbox (SAND).
Another notable mover was the sandbox (SAND), which helped to kick off the weekend. Prices also reached a multi-week peak.
SAND/USD managed to surpass its $1.00 mark Saturday and hit an intraday high at $1.02
After four consecutive days of gains, today's peak marks the highest point SAND has reached in August 26th.
There is a possibility that the run may be cut short as the RSI appears to collide with a ceiling of 49.30.
The RSI currently stands at 48.33. This is the highest level since mid-August when prices were trading above $1.35.
Bulls will likely target exits near resistance at $1.10 if the index moves past this hurdle.
