Participants learned skills that will help them achieve greater freedom from the incumbent systems at the Fifth Underground Citadel Texas event last month.
Plan B Passport hosted August 25th the fifth Underground Citadel at Bitcoin Commons, Austin, Texas. This article will help you if you missed the most important event of the year. The event had the highest attendance and retention rates we've ever seen. The Bitcoin Commons/Austin Bitcoin Community event space was filled from beginning to end, and even after the event ended.
Underground Citadel was created to be the best place for Bitcoiners, where they can connect with like-minded individuals and build their own tribes. This is a brief history of how the event came about.
Building the Underground Citadel
You've been there. You begin to question everything you were told. This is when you start to want everything to be destroyed and go down many rabbit holes. Once you move past the anger stage, life is still beautiful, and you can focus on creating your life.
Underground Citadel is a conference that discusses the solutions to help us create the life we want, regardless of the flawed system we currently live in. We invite you to attend and discover the signal that comes from Bitcoin, and how it can help you create a beautiful life.
Finding The Beautiful Life
Underground Citadel's latest edition started with the basics of security. We then moved on to the more advanced aspects of physical security, such as situational awareness, threat recognition, and mental tactics. How to increase your awareness of your surroundings and counter any potential threats.
We went into depth on the ultimate sovereign individual toolset, including survival instinct, deterrence/preemptive strikes, deception, evacuation, extreme focus and awareness, reality-based training, and perhaps integrating some medical training. To deter potential threats, it is important to have the mental model of being "big and strong" to be able to adapt to any situation.
Then, we moved on to hunting. Many people might argue that we have even fallen behind as a society. Most people can't buy food anymore, and they don't need to go to the farmers market or grocery store. We discussed the reasons why hunting is important, how to kill animals and why attention is so important. Jon Wayne Taylor, the presenter, explained how hunting is less efficient than farming, trapping, and domestication. This holds true until you have no other options. Later, he explained why you should master tracking, marking, marksmanship, and butchery to enhance your hunting skills.
We then went on to home-birth. This topic was the most fascinating for Bitcoiners. This topic was something we had in our minds since Underground Citadel's first event. However, we weren't sure how male-dominated audiences would react. We are grateful for the warm reception from Bitcoiners to this talk.
We talked about why we decided to not trust our bodies to do the most important thing it was designed to do. We have allowed the medical system control and to numb pregnant women. Bitcoinersm believes that "don't believe, verify" so everyone should do their own research on why they are having a baby at a hospital. They should also educate themselves about the best options for them and not let doctors scare them into having a wonderful experience under bright lights in a stressful environment. You are the patient in the healthcare system and should have all the power.
Then, we had to dig into flag theory, jurisdictional arbitrage, and other topics. We explored how Bitcoin allows freedom of movement at this Underground Citadel. As a group who values permissionless money, it is important that we also value free movement. We are now born into a nonconsensual Monopoly. In a fiat world, governments are not accountable. The world is controlled by the money printer and greedy leaders. Under a Bitcoin standard, people are the customers. Governments are then forced to compete against each other by offering the best services at the most affordable prices.
However, we will continue to focus on "investmentmigration" until then. This is the term we use within the jurisdictional arbitration industry to describe immigration programs that require investment or donation in order for someone to obtain a visa, residency, or passport. We encourage people to incorporate flag theory or jurisdictional arbitrage into their lives. Plan B Passport defines "flag theory" as the concept of limiting your dependence on any particular state by "stacking" flags in jurisdictions that are more beneficial to you. We love to use a market and capitalism lense to the way governments operate. We show how Bitcoin has brought the jurisdictional arbitrage game up to a new level. This actually solves the problem of no free market between nations.
Dr. Oubre, a functional medicine expert, then spoke to us about how to take control of your health and unlock your "discomfort genome." Many of us have tried to be healthy by following restrictive diets. But, we should have figured out what was missing through tests and given our bodies the information they needed. He then went through the five pillars that make up health: biological, toxic, environmental (manmade), metals, and emotional. He also explained why it is important to test for each one. After healing , biohacking is easier than ever. After optimizing, you can focus on reverse ageing by unlocking your "discomfort genome".
We also have the quick-start guide for 3D printing your sovereignty. As with hunting, tracking, killing and processing animals is not the best way to put food on the table. 3D printing is a less reliable source of weapons and requires a steep learning curve. Also, going out and purchasing your weapon is more efficient. It's not necessary until you really need it. At that point it is too late. Water delivery systems, water filters, and water softeners are all available to you if you don't have access to clean water. This is only possible if you don't have water. What happens if you don't both have access to water but also don't know how to solve the problem? This is also true for 3D printing. You need to learn how to print guns when they are not on the table.
While you don't necessarily need a passport if everything is going well, you don't require any cyberspace money or censorship-resistant means of exchanging value. If fiat currencies drop to zero you will lose all your wealth. A second travel document is not necessary unless your primary means of travel are no longer in use. At this point it's also too late. Underground Citadel, as sovereign individuals considered "preppers", was certainly a step out of our comfort zones. It's like any other form or growth. We want to share our message with you about everything we covered: It's not an easy task, but it's certainly worth it.
