Do we need to rely on established political parties for protection of the interests of Bitcoiners? Is it time to create a new Bitcoin political group?

It is becoming increasingly difficult to find your ideological home within a political party as political polarization continues. You must support the party in today's political climate. Both the Republican party and the Democrat party must adhere to this dogmatic orthodoxy. Any time you go against the party line on an issue, you will instantly be crucified as a traitor, turncoat or outcast.
There's no place for rational political debates, as there was before the country became a country. People could have a deep, engaging discussion about the issues and not be called heretics for considering the other side.
Today we only get sound bites, 30-second attacks ads, and tweets. How is the average person supposed to make informed decisions when they don't have accurate information?
You think you can get impartial information from the legacy media? You might be wrong. The media has also been seized by political polarization. Americans are becoming more isolated in their online and TV content consumption. Based on TV news consumption, 17% of Americans are politically divided. 8.7% of Americans are polarized to the left and 8.4% to the right.
This type of polarization will only lead to gridlock and not any progress towards improving the country. We face real problems and don't have either the political leadership nor the political courage necessary to fix them. There is an unsecure southern border and a problem with homelessness that has spiraled out-of-control. Inflation is rampant making it difficult for all Americans to live in this country.
Are these the issues that our elected leaders are focusing on? They are far too busy with their political drama. It's like watching soap operas. It is sad, disappointing and pathetic to watch. We don't have problem solvers in Congress. Instead, we have people who are too proud of themselves and haven’t created anything of value in life.
What encourages this type of behavior?
This problem stems from the credit-based monetary systems. People in government have the ability to spend more than they can afford and create programs that are possible to pay for with "money" created from thin air. Because credit-based money allows politicians to build a base that will vote for them regardless of what, it encourages polarization. Because they know they will be reelected, they can say stupid and reckless things. The reelection rate for incumbents is over 90%.
Politicians get rewarded for fighting for the other side and not for compromising to reach anything. That would be considered as giving in to the other side.
We all end up getting screwed by our avarices and shortsightedness. We need fresh blood in this system. Visionaries are needed who see beyond the present and can look to the future to see where we can go. I believe Bitcoiners are the best group of people to do this.
We Need Visionaries
Visionaries are needed to present a better vision of the country. We need deeper thinkers who can think beyond the next election, and plan for the future decades ahead. People who are able to see how the credit-based monetary system has corroded our institutions and have the answers will be needed.
Leaders must understand that credit-based money will not last. Because men can't resist the lure of power, credit-based monetary systems are always doomed to fail.
Although Bitcoiners hate getting involved in politics, it is essential that they do so now more than ever. If we aren't in the room defending Bitcoin, who else will? If we aren't in the room crafting regulations, who else will defend the Bitcoin protocol?
While it is admirable and noble to educate individual legislators, is it delivering the long-term results needed to protect Bitcoin? We still have a lot of work to do, as evidenced by Tornado Cash's addition to the OFAC SDN list (Office of Foreign Assets Control Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons). We are still a long way from seeing these sanctions on CoinJoins or Whirlpool. They will make mixing coins illegal and punishable with fines or jail time. It is possible if things continue as they are.
Because of its enormous potential to save the planet, Bitcoin is something we all believe in and love. Bitcoin could become an investment asset or store of value if we fail to stand up for it. We must organize if we want Bitcoin's full potential to be realized.
Bitcoiners can create a political party, which I think is possible with relative ease. The most passionate people I have ever met are Bitcoiners. They care deeply about the world and want it to change.
A new Bitcoin party, just like Bitcoin was created from scratch, is a people's movement which will embody America's values. I urge everyone to visit the website of your Secretary-of-State to learn more about how to start a party in your state.
